Jennifer has provided excellent executive assistance and customer service relations for over 20 years by working with small businesses in the manufacturing/embroidery industry and payroll/ human resources industries. She has had an interest in entrepreneurship and in 2006 started her own organic dog treat business which was a large success.
Several years later with many skills and experience under her belt, Jennifer decided to share her business experience and life skills to help fellow entrepreneurs. Being a former small business owner, she was very aware of the challenges that owners face to do ‘everything’ while trying to grow their business and knew Virtual Assistance was an area where she could offer her business knowledge, administrative and marketing expertise to present that helping hand.
Secretary Central was then born, a firm Jennifer is incredibly proud of and one that is growing all of the time. The Secretary Central team of professionals work in brand development, online strategy, copywriting, e-commerce, social media, graphics and SEO, and they look after and develop the tasks that business owners don’t have time to do online and use their skills and expertise to help grow and nurture a business. Jen is dedicated to not only providing companies with professional administrative services, but an easy to work with and friendly team who are very interested and dedicated to helping a business. For nearly 20 years, Denise has spent most of her career in an administrative role of one type or another.
After months of research into the virtual assistant world, and working as an associate with another virtual assistant, helping to ghost-write several web pages, she knew she’d be a great VA. Enter Secretary Central!
Denise continues to make it her mission to learn new things in the virtual world, so that in addition to her basic skills, she can add further value to her clients, helping to save them time and stress, while getting the job done exceptionally well. Denise prides herself on being organized, working with a sense of urgency and delivering quality results, each and every time.
Denise enjoys working with social media (setting up, building and maintaining account profiles and scheduling posts via Buffer/Hootsuite), WordPress blogs/websites, SEO, and Google Drive. In addition, she enjoys general administrative tasks, such as data entry, spreadsheet management, content creation, word processing, proofreading and online research. Programs and apps such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Evernote, DropBox, and Skype are part of her daily repertoire. She always makes it her mission to find out how to accomplish a task or learn a new program if necessary.
She loves to help out time-starved business owners and individuals and is happiest when she’s able to complete the tasks ahead of schedule. She believes this makes her a valuable asset to any team. Regardless of industry, Denise feels she always has something to learn and takes on the task with enthusiasm and eagerness to satisfy her clients.
